Robert Garick, CPA, received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin College of Indiana and a Master of Business Administration degree from Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. A certified public accountant since 1981, he is licensed to practice in both the states of Florida and New York.
After his tenure with "Big Eight" firms in New York, he joined local accounting firms, first in New York and then in Florida, as an audit manager. As a Partner at Goldstein Lewin and a Director with CBIZ/Mayer Hoffman McCann, Mr. Garick provided audit services for a broad range of businesses involved in construction, CIRA, broker-dealers, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, biotech, manufacturing, electronics, distribution, real estate, the Internet, ERISA,and not-for-profit organizations. He also participated in many regulatory (SEC,HUD and others) filings and offerings, and single audits.
Mr. Garick is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, Derivatives Accounting, the Life Science Technology HUB of South Florida, the SEC Financial Reporting Forum, the Smaller Reporting Company Alliance, U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting Issues, and the CPA & Business Professional Group.
Originally from New York, Bob now resides in Boca Raton with his wife, Sara. Bob's leisure time revolves around Salsa and Ballroom dancing as well as improving his golf game.
